Hello Jeanne! It's really interesting you picked up on that - I know in the case of certain food groups there is certainly a spectrum of nutritional benefits (for example choosing brazil nuts and walnuts over peanuts for the highest antioxident and omega-3 content), however, I can't find anything in the cited research that would suggest red beans wouldn't be interchangeable nutritionally with any of the other beans!
